Here is the article of Amanda's wedding which took place at Babington House on Thursday 11th December 2008.
When beautiful bride Amanda Holden tied the knot with fiance Chris Hughes in front of family and close friends it was like a scene straight from the movies. The traditional nuptials took place at Babington House, an exclusive members' club and hotel set in acres of breathtaking somerset parkland.
Amanda, who we are well used to seeing on our screens as a judge on ITV's Britain's Got Talent, looked stunning as she said 'I do' to her music producer beau, Chris.
Many of the couple's celebrity friends flocked to the venue's chapel to witness the magical nuptials, including Formula One's Jenson Button, Piers Morgan, Sarah Parish, Chesney Hawkes, Mick Hucknall, Noddy Holder, Anita Dobson, Russ Abbott, Angela Griffin, Lisa Faulkner, Jessie Wallace, Lucy-Jo Hudson and Alan Halsall - to name but a few.
However, one familiar, but distinctly absent, face was Amanda's fellow judge Simon Cowell.
Amanda told told OK: 'There are so many gags about him in the speeches that it's best that he's not here because I'd be sacked!'
And so at 4pm sharp, as a rare December sun was setting over the frosted fields, the couple's glamorous - and excited - guests began to mingle in the foyer of Babington House, greeted with a glass of bubbly to get them in the mood.
